On our procedural side we see patients post cardiac cath/EP labs that have undergone heart catheterizations, ablations, TAVRs, pacemaker placements, and others. These patients frequently have TR bands to manage, sheaths, and/or require groin management. For our surgical side, we see patients from the PACU that have undergone thryoidectomies, TURPs, mastectomies, hysterectomies, among others. Responsibilities: The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services -Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. - Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.
